I love your videos. I was wondering if you could add some real time video with audio from the worksite, or even some voice over sort of telling about the job. I know it is a lot of editing but I would love to hear about the jobs you are doing and hear some of the audio from the worksite. I will still watch either way. Keep making awesome videos for us to enjoy. :-)

How do you know how thick your layin it
The spreader comes off the take-off pad. That's why a good base is essential to maintain the pavers results. We pave a minimum 2" compacted.

A sidewalk must be built on both sides of the garden so that the asphalt does not wear out of water
That is an option although expensive here. The customer does have the choice to have that.

Looks great! You guys really should adjust the angle of attack on the extensions. The mat should all look the same as the main screed.
Hi Ephix! Thank you, it is good to hear from you. Unfortunately on this spreader the extensions are small. They do not match the screed at all. 3 to 4 inches max so the result is never really the same.

Hi, i have a small paving company and am curious how you can make any profit with an eight man crew paving small driveways? What do you roughly pay your employees if you dont mind me asking? Do you provide health benefits?
Hi Larry. There are a few reasons we operate this way. Family accounts for half of the staff. We also do a variety of other work both commercial and residential. We have new entry staff starting at minimum wage on up. The work load is steady and can be intense including all the other things we do. It is definitely a growing process with ups and downs. We strive to do our best for this reason. We have acquired new equipment over time which has helped our efficiency greatly.

Hi Frank, during the down time everything is worked on. All the mechanicals get done. My brother is currently doing a new paint job on a truck he picked up for next season. Also that dreaded snow plowing 🙂

@Patterson-2022-paving Hi Patterson. You can pick up a sod roller at most big box stores. They can last a decent amount if they don't get banged up. That is the quickest and most convenient way to get hand rolling.
